In this day most companies hide behind the "Guarantee expired" situation and had you told me to throw away my unit that was not working properly, I would have understood and taken the blow on the chin.
Instead you satisfied your customer, yet again, and took the knock yourself and replaced the faulty unit.

We are really happy with the iPod and ice>link plus that we got
from you and had fitted to our Audi A3. The quality of the music
is quite astounding through the system and the Audi's Concert radio.
We have found our way around the iPods many (easy) menus and options
and find it, like all Apple products, not only nicely robust but
extremely logical and user-friendly. Testing it over the weekend,
during which we covered around 1200km, it was great to have around
3500 tracks (i.e. ALL of our music) on hand, and with one of us
as passenger at all times, it was easy and fast to select not just
the track we wanted but the song, if necessary! It really is the
pinnacle of in-car sound entertainment, and perfect in a car as
quiet as is the Audi. The iPod and a new ice>link will definitely
move onto our next car when we sell this one!

Hi Jason,
Having had an ice>link iPod cradle installed in
my previous car, I was so hooked, that ice>link compatibility
became a deciding factor when buying my new car. It's not just that
I have my music collection with me wherever I go, it's that I can
now listen to podcasts and audiobooks, making rush hour commutes
far less tedious.

I recently had a Parrot 3200 LS installed in my car by another company. I have had problems from the first day and must admit that the company was very little help. The best thing they did for me was introduce me to Gavin.
Gavin arrived at my house Thursday and assessed my kit installation. He agreed that there was a problem and showed me how the kit in his car works. He then suggested he come back the following day and install a new kit. He has just installed my new kit and everything seems fine. Both evenings he stayed here until after 19h00 and his only concern was making sure that my kit functioned. I watched Gavin work and saw the mess that the other company made with their installation, a totally amateurish and pathetic effort by the other company.
I would like to say this about Gavin:
- He is totally customer focused. He listens to what you have to say.
- Delivers as promised
- Totally professional and meticulous in his work
- Understands and believes in his products
I really would like to thank Gavin for the effort he has made in sorting out my problems. He is in my opinion a real asset to your company. I want to see how this kit works for the next week or so and then want to install a similar kit in my wife’s car – I have no doubt that I will be contacting Gavin again.

Thanks for the superb service that you offered to me. I finally installed the iPod and ice>link plus kit to my Renault Megane. I must say the quality of the music output is so good, so clear. (before this I was using some wireless FM transmitter which always had some interferences and hisses)
Also the iPod ice>link plus is compatible to my Renault's radio controls on my steering wheel, now all my music is at my fingertips when I'm driving. I think the way you treat customers is rare, outstanding, friendly and excellent, that I feel like buying another product from you. Being from outside South Africa, I just enjoyed dealing with you.

Background:
Audi Menlyn had a Parrot hands-free kit (CK3000 Evolution) fitted to my new Audi A4 – not sure who you used as the installer at the time. The unit had been working fine but I did have some of the features that did not work with my previous mobile phone, but the basics were ok. I recently purchased a smart phone and I had some major issues with the functionality of the unit. I received a firmware upgrade from Jason Carrozzo at SMAC, but this did not resolve the problem. In consultation with Jason (and without pressure) he agreed to upgrade me to the next model the CK3100 and this after first going to the trouble to test the functionality with my smart phone, to make sure it works. The installation was also arranged by Jason with an installer at Vodaworld as this was most convenient for me.
The entire upgrade did not cost me a cent.
